Campfires

Here are links to the Campfire products we talk about in our video.

This value for money Folding BBQ makes a great fire pit.
Having the dual function of a BBQ or a fire pit is great and Folding flat into it’s own bag makes it pretty easy to store.

If minimalism is important to you - the Grilliput Firebowl is a tiny fire pit solution.
The firebowl stores tiny but pops out to a good size.  - Just be aware due to the the very short legs, it will still scorch the ground without a barrier of some sort.

To double up the firebowl for cooking, you can add the Grilliput grill - this packs right down to a single tube and It’s top quality materials make it really easy to clean - We’ve had one for around 5 years and it still looks like new.

We’ve only recently got this Collapsible Raised Firepit, simply made of a folding stand and stainless mesh platform.
Having now tried it out a few times we’re massively impressed. Not only does it fold down for storage, it provides a good sized stable platform for your fire which gets great air flow to keep the fire going, clearing up is a breeze and due to the height off the ground it causes no damage to the ground.

To save transporting bags of wood or having to forage for wood everywhere we go, we carry a few of these wax/sawdust Fire Logs. Giving around 2 hours burn time and so easy to light, although it does feel a little bit like cheating, they are great and not too expensive when bought in bulk

We picked up our Biofuel Stove a few years ago so can't find the exact one, but there are many similar ones available, after toping it up with Biofuel it’s a simple matter of lighting and sitting back to enjoy an ambient easy alternative to a wood fire.

We’ve carried a Portable Gas BBQ for sometime as, particularly in mainland Europe, charcoal BBQs are often not allowed on sites. With a slight modification to widen the gas injector, (which you do at your own risk) it means, when we’ve finished cooking, we can crank up the gas to enjoy an LPG fire pit.

We made our own DIY Campfire in a Can, simply with an old sweet can, candle wax and a spiral of thick cardboard as a wick, it’s easy to light and extinguish. But if you want to buy one off the shelf this would be a good option.
